First 50 years of the United Arab Emirates
This year, we are celebrating the first 50 years of the United Arab Emirates. The unique sculptural piece honors our Founding Father is here to remind all citizens how everything started. The legacy of HH Sheikh Zayed is all around us. His dedication, devotion, vision, and hard work are what we can learn every day. It’s a reminder for all that nothing is impossible. As a Media production in Abu Dhabi with European background and roots, we learning a lot. Father Zayed is our lighthouse when we speak about focus and thoroughness. We can say that he was one of the pioneers who had a strong vision for his nation and a fully committed soul.
Who is Professor Zoran?
Professor Zoran is one of the most important European sculptors of today. Predominantly known for his monumental pieces and a large body of work done for some of the world’s most important governments. In 2017 he created the first-ever sculpture of HH Sheikh Zayed. Today, sculpture proudly adorns the Signature Room within the UAE’s Presidential Palace, overseeing some of the most important public figures of our time.
Zoran said about his work: “Analyzing the story of the UAE’s Founding Father Sheikh Zayed, I realized his great love towards his nation and people. The love, respect, and pride the nation feels about him are still strong. Even 15 years after his passing. This sculpture is my representation of him.”
